Do you have insurance?

Absolutely. This includes theft, liability and accidental coverage. Your home, our employees and MAIDS TO DIE FOR are all included in the coverage. We will provide you with an insurance validation certificate upon request.

What if something in my home gets broken?

We realize that cleaning requires us to touch and move almost all items within your home. If loss or damage occurs please notify us within two days (48hrs) of your cleaning day. We also recommend that you take a few moments to put away your personal items such as valuables and money. This way when we clean and are putting things away you will know exactly where they are. How do you screen your Employees?

All of our employees are thoroughly screened. We interview them, provide criminal background checks and follow up on character and work references.

How do I let MAIDS TO DIE FOR access my home?

The most convenient way is to leave a key with us on file in our Lock box. Or you may choose to leave the key at some other designated place or within range of your residence. This way you will not be charged in the event that you forget your scheduled cleaning day.

If I provide MAIDS TO DIE FOR with a set of keys to my home, will they be kept in a safe place?

Your keys are kept in a lock box in which only the manager has access to. Your keys are security coded as soon as you drop them off. No identification or address will be marked on the key. Route managers will obtain a key on the day of the scheduled cleaning and must return it after the scheduled call is completed.

Can I meet my Service Provider in person prior to my scheduled cleaning day?

Yes. If you wish to meet with your cleaner you may do so by arranging a meeting time with your MAIDS TO DIE FOR office.

How many people will clean my home?

Our staff works in teams of one or two. Sometimes we will have teams of four or more depending on the service or project requested and the time needed to fulfill these services. Please note that when more than one person is sent to a job, the quoted time (defined as man hours) will be reduced by the number of people provided for the job.

For example, if the service was scheduled for four hours and two service providers are assigned to the job the time will be calculated as two hours. However, your invoice will remain the same and you will be billed for the full four hours.

How will I recognize your staff?

All of our staff will be outfitted in white shirts, visors, aprons and beige pants which bear the MAIDS TO DIE FOR name. Each Service Provider will have a badge with his or her name on it.

Will I have the same people clean my home?

We will make every effort to send the same Service Provider each time. Occasionally due to unforeseen situations such as illness, day off, vacation, or even change of employment this may not always be possible. However, given the way MAIDS TO DIE FOR orientates and trains its cleaning staff you can be assured that each of our Service Providers will provide you with our best Professional Service.

Are your estimates free?

Yes. Fees are based on the size and condition of your home, what services you select and how long it will take for us to provide you these services. When you receive an estimate, it is just that, an estimate. Once we enter your home for the first time we should have a better sense of exactly how long the cleaning will take. If the Service exceeds the original estimate our management will contact you before we authorize any additional services. It is understood that the said authorization may be verbal in the event that such authorization takes place on the job.

Do you supply the cleaning agents?

Yes. We supply all cleanings products & materials unless you have a special request for an alternate product in which we will not be responsible for any damages caused in its use. Please note that we do not provide garbage bags, laundry detergent or dish soap.

How do I pay?

For your convenience the following modes of payment are available:

  • Master Card
  • Visa
  • Cash
  • Check

Payments are to be made at the time of your scheduled cleaning. Clients may leave their credit card number and a signed permission slip on file at the head office of MAIDS TO DIE FOR. All information is kept in a secure place and remains confidential.

If you use your Credit Card it will be debited the amount due plus any additional fees as agreed upon by MAIDS TO DIE FOR Inc and the client. The customer will provide additional compensation in the event that the service to be rendered exceeds the original estimates providing that an agreement has been made in advance between Management and the client authorizing the additional services.

A $15.00 non-payment fee will be charged if payment is not received on your scheduled service day. NSF checks will be subject to a $25.00 service charge.

Do I have to tip?

Tipping is not mandatory however notes of appreciation for exceptional service are always welcome and are encouraging to our Service Provider.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule my service day?

If it becomes necessary to cancel or reschedule our services, please do so within two business days of your scheduled cleaning. This allows us enough time to reassign our Service Provider to other jobs. Cancellations made less than two business days before the scheduled cleaning will be subject to a full price charge.

To insure that all of your needs and concerns are addressed please correspond all requests and changes directly to the MAIDS TO DIE FOR office manager. Please do not communicate any important details to your Service Provider or team as we always have a manager on hand at our offices to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.

If by any reason you wish to terminate your Service Contract, please be sure to submit this in writing to our Offices or by e-mail at customer-service@maidstodiefor.com.

Why should I fill out a comment card?

In order to serve you better we ask that you fill in a comment card along with your remarks, ideas or suggestions this will help us to better determine your cleaning needs.

What if I am unsatisfied with the Service?

As evaluation of the quality of cleaning is personalized and subjective, we cannot offer refunds for completed services. Can I redeem my Gift Certificate or Coupons for Cash?

No, gift certificates and coupons cannot be redeemed for cash and are not subject to a refund.

Please note that it may happen that your first clean does not live up to your expectations. If this is your experience please fill out a commentary card along with any request that you may have. Because we understand that our services are subjective by nature and that each and every one of our customer’s needs are different, we offer customized cleaning plans that will best suit your needs and accommodate your preferred method of cleaning.
